I played a crucial role in the creation and initial start up of the LLC and facilitated on behalf of my employers, the coordination of many local and community agencies with vested interests in the preservation of the farm, such as the National Lands Trust, Montgomery County, three local townships and The Whitemarsh Foundation. My responsibilities included the management of a staff of 20 landscape and agricultural staff. During my tenure, I assisted with: the renovation of the Main Estate, a historic residence; the design, renovation and the construction management of the main estate grounds; a naturalized meadow restoration; the planting of an orchard; and the start up of an on site farm produce stand.

Community Design Collaborative - Volunteer
Volunteer Landscape Designer| 1997
The Community Design Collaborative provides pro bono preliminary design services to nonprofit organizations in the greater Philadelphia area. I worked with a group of other design professionals volunteers and the Fair Hill Burial Ground Corporation to create a Stabilization and Survey Report for the Fair Hill Burial Grounds. The Fair Hill Burial Grounds is a historic Quaker cemetery located in north Philadelphia and is the final resting place for many individuals who played important roles in the abolition and early women's rights movements such as Lucretia Mott. Our CDC report documented current conditions in the burial grounds with a hardscape and plant survey and suggested the direction of future improvements to the site via an overall master plan.
